GATHER
Each Sunday we gather together to worship our God and King. We worship God through singing praises, praying together, loving one another, and building one another up through the proclamation of God's word. After we gather together on Sunday, every member is sent out as a missionary to share God's love and hope to the world.
GROW
As followers of Christ we seek to grow in our faith by being learners. We believe he Bible is God's Holy Word, and provides answers to life's most important questions. We provide opportunities to learn through
-Sunday School, every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.
-Sunday Night Bible Study, every Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
-Children and Youth Ministry every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. during the School Year.
-Baptist Women in Action every third Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
SHARE
We believe every follower of Christ is called to share the Good News that Jesus came, lived a perfect sinless, life, died for our sins on the cross, rose again on the third day and was seen by many. We share the gospel message through our worship service on Sunday morning, through Kids Beach Club at Westridge Elementary, and through one on one sharing with those who have never heard the gospel message. The call to share is expressed in our vision statement that says in part "Hillcrest Baptist Church exists to help people find Jesus...." Our lives should be a representation of Christ's love and a witness to the watching world that Jesus saves.
SERVE
Jesus told us the two greatest commandments are to love God, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We believe that in order to love God we must love all of his people. We attempt to be faithful to God's command by serving in Frankfort and around the World. We serve at:
The Soup Kitchen, on the first Saturday of every month. Operation In As Much, by going out in the community and serving the least of these. Kids Beach Club, an after-school program we provide at Westridge Elementary School through the school year. Short term mission trips both in and outside the country. Giving, to support ministries and missionaries both at home and around the world.
